                                                                        Details of the Projects

Of the C of S Guild's 4 new Project Partners, two are based in Scotland, one in Bulgaria and one in Upper Egypt.  All funds raised are sent directly to the Projects and therefore are used for the work stated. These Projects will be supported by the CofS Guild until 2027.

Scottish Bible Society's 'Bibles for Bairns', offers every child born in Scotland a Share a Story Bible on their first birthday with a bible related gift on their 2nd, 3rd and 4th birthday, and a children's bible on their 5th. All of these are free, all you have to do is register the baby. 

Crossreach 'Playful Beginnings', is an early intervention project for children under 12 and their families, where children with disabilities from deprived backgrounds and home challenges can thrive. Alongside this specialist  perinatal therapy with creche support to develop parent and infant relationship therapy.

Release International - Voice of Persecuted Christians - 'Operation Hope'  serving persecuted Christians in Upper Egypt facing  extreme poverty, discrimination, marginalisation. lack of education especially in the rural areas. Families are supplied with basic living needs e.g.a toilet, roof, food packages and supported spiritually and psychologically.

The small Scottish charity Bear Necessities 'Build my Church'  This is planned for a large,poor district of Sliven, Bulgaria, where there is no church at all, and will offer a centre for teaching, worship and prayer, access to free health care, a soup kitchen, and training and support for leadership within the church.
